I have a lot of DVD's videos (shows how long I've been collecting them) and physical books about various aspects of online business and internet marketing, and every now and then I sell them on Ebay.

With digital products you'd think it would be different. You can store tens of thousands of ebooks, probably more, on your hard drive without noticing them too much. You never actually get around to reading them of course but they're much easier to store.

Recently I came across an excellent package about flipping websites - creating them using templates and selling them for up to $1,000 in a single day. The product creator gives real-life examples of how he does it. It's a great package - have a look at http://www.jezwalters.com/flippingwebsite if you're interested.

But I think it's going to cause me a new problem.

The object is to build a website and sell it in a matter of hours. It certainly can be done with a little practise and time, and I've started work on a few websites of my own with the intention of selling them.

So I find myself with two or three small content sites that i must admit, look pretty good. It's time to auction them, and using the instructions in the product I mention above, I know if I'm lucky I should get a few hundred dollars for them.

But have I listed them yet?

Nope - I started to like my sites, get attached to them and before I know it I find that I'm 'hanging onto them for a while'.

Of course what this really means is I like them and can't bear to sell them to someone else. They're not making money for me (websites don't have to earn to be highly saleable) and chances are they'll just sit on my hard drive for a few months until I forget about them forever, when in reality I could be $300 richer for a simple auction listing.

Hoarding mentailty eh?

More next time

Sara

Viral Sneakiness

I'm back after a long break from blogging for technical reasons - I thought my posts were being automatically updated. It seems not!

There's been a gentle change in the air...

In the past few months I've had a few emails from people who are pretty unhappy with the state of Internet Marketing at the moment. It seems that many experts are promoting marketing methods that are either too complex to put into place or simply don't work because they're gimmicky.

This has led to a lot of 'guru bashing'. Now I'm not directly involved with sites such as www.guruscam.com but I must say I think anything that enables the little guy to question the methods of any expert can only be a good thing. Anyone who offers a product for sale should use it themselves unless there's a very good reason not to.

Which is the other reason I launched www.viralsneakiness.com

A lot of the emails I received openly asked me to 'just tell me how YOU make money!.

Well I hadn't planned the above publication but it wasn't hard to make a list of the dozen or so methods that I use to generate income and to pick what I thought was the easiest and cheapest.

www.viralsneakiness.com is the result. Following on the back of www.minilaunches.com which is another method in the list, I've put out two methods here that I think can kick-start the serious online earning potential of almost amyone.

Better still, they're extremely inexpensive and quick to set up.

But better than that, I'm proud to say that if you read the books you will be able to look round my other sites and instantly spot the methods in the books, because I use them myself. It's where my income comes from - my home, cars, food, holidays, and bills are paid for by using the methods in the books.

I hope you'll be able to look at the methods you've bought from the 'big' experts and say the same.

Can you see the methods in the websites and marketing techniques in their websites?

More soon

Sara

PLR Rights are all the rage!

Private Label Rights to information products are pretty popular at the moment.

One of my first big 'killings' in the Internet Marketing game was when I bought the Private Label rights to a simple 10 page report. Because it came with Private Label rights it meant I could rewrite parts of it, add some up to date information and (most importantly of all) re-title it and credit myself as author.

I put a link in to my (one and only at that time) website and launched it upom am unsuspecting Internet population.

With initial sales, viral marketing (people clicking on the website link) and paid advertising (other people paid to put their link in the book once it started circulating well) I made over a thousand dollars in a pretty short time.

PLR rights faded a little but I've noticed in recent months a re-surgance in PLR rights.

I was asked by my subscribers to put together a limited PLR package. My subscribers have bought almost ALL the licenses on offer but there ar a handful left.

Have a look at http://www.your-future-income.com/plroffer

More soon

sara

LIttle Gem!

Sometimes life just hands you a gift.

I'm told I'm one of just a few Internet Marketers who still answer their emails personally. I must admit this is getting harder each year because of the sheer size of my inbox each morning.

One of the most frequent questions I'm asked is from people who want to create their own information products but just don't know what to write about.

Info products are still best-sellers, despite what experts might tell you, but deciding what subject to create an info product on is difficult. Get it wrong and you can find yourself doing a lot of hard work for nothing. Get it right and you could find ten grand in your Paypal account overnight.

I've found a phenomenal ebook that has gone a long way to making sure your info product fills your Paypal account, rather thanb eating up your time for nothing.

Imagine spending just 10 hours getting together a unique info product, that you own sole rights to and that could bring you a regular weekly income!

The stuff of dreams?

Maybe. Maybe not.

It's been along time sonce I've learned something from an ebook that took my breath away. But I have.

Have a look at this.

http://www.jobhaters.com/blogoffer

More soon

Sara
x

Retirement!

While the end of my thrities crawls ever closer I can't help but wonder what I'll be doing in 10 years time. When I was 20 it seemed like it would take forever to get to 40 but time seems to move quicker as you get older.

When I had a week to my birthdays as a child it seemed an endless amount of time, but hit your mid thrities and you find yourself thinking about something that you thought happened six months ago, when in reality it was four years since!

So I'm facing up to it - I'll be 50 before I know it, and I don't want to be working at that age. I have a lot of free time now but I want to be fully retired at 50.

It's time to make real plans, not the vague 'I'll be OK' ramblings I've been guilty of in the past.

Maybe this is time to look at your position in the Internet Marketing world. If you're making your living online perhaps it's time to plan out where you want to be in 10 years and start aiming for it.

If you're not yet making your living from IM here's something that might help

www.wornpaper.com

Whichever position you're in, simply 'sticking at it' isn't enough. It's time to think about actual numbers of sales, income figures etc.

Scary eh?

On a happier note, the state pension in the UK just went up by 47p a week!

Happy retirement.

The ultimate free software ebook

Reduced from £24.99 to an amazing £1.50!

Check out www.jobhaters.com/listoffer before this offer expires.

sara
x

An Interview with Sara Brown

For two years I've been trying to avoid doing one of these!

I always though they were a bit of an ego-fuelling excercise and I'd rather be making money than just talking about making money!

Anyway I changed my mind because I've reached a point now where I really know what I'm doing in terms of Internet marketing. As you'll see in the interview, I find it pretty easy to earn five figures from a single promotion. That's not a boast - that's fact.

I thought it would be a good idea to pass on just how easy it is. Now I'll bet that makes you angry. You might be struggling to earn a few hundred pounds a month from your Internet enterprises and you hear me telling you that really it's very simple. Insulting eh?

Well no, not really. It's really not hard to earn your living from your PC. You just need someone to tell you how to do it.

That's why I decided to do the interview. There's a great bonus ebook included if you order within seven days that's worth more than ten times it's cost alone!

http://www.sarabrowninterview.com

I had an email from someone last week who wanted me to act as publisher for a lion-taming course he was creating! I presume it was a wind-up but you never know!

He sent me a brief overview of how lion-tamers are in short supply in certain areas of the world where animals are still allowed in circus events. He asked me to review it and will get back to me when he's finished making the DVD!!!

I haven't heard from him since.

Extended special offer!

Just a quickie.

Due to massive demand I've been asked to extend the following 'Christmas' offer until 31st January 2006.

It will ABSOLUTELY close forever then.

http://www.jobhaters.com/christmas

sara
x

NEWS: Affiliate programme for Sara Brown publications

I haven't posted for a while because I've been working hard finalising my new affiliate programme.

I'm now absolutely delighted to announce that for the first time ever you can sign up for the FREE Sara Brown affiliate programme for ALL my best-selling products.

The earning potential here is absolutely incredible.

If you undertake a www.msn.com search for Sara Brown you'll find me at the top of the page rankings! If you search for 'one month magnate' on msn.com we have top ranking. Not bad to say that it's not fully launched yet!

So now I'm proud to invite people to make money from the One Month Magnate as an affiliate. We pay 50% of each sale to all affiliates and it's very easy to do. Just go to the webpage above and scroll down and click on the 'affiliate' link.

By just putting a link on your website or your email signature you can start earning while you sleep! I do.

You can also put a link on Ebay too. For all those of you who think this isn't allowed - think again. The launch of a 'The One Month Magnate' has taken up most of my time.

www.one-month-magnate.com

I've had a great couple of weeks creating a new income stream - you can see details in the latest issue of my free newsletter (see link on right) and gearing up for Christmas. As usual there's the family politics game to play - who goes to which house and so on. I try to hit the mulled wine on Christmas Eve and come up smiling in the New Year.

Business is always strange over the Christmas holiday. I know it's still a while away (51 days?) at the moment but NOW is the time to start your Christmas planning if you're in business.

I always find that there's a quiet two weeks in the run up to Christmas but then sales in January usually go through the roof. I think it's to do with people making New Year's resolutions about quitting work and becoming their own boss.

So if you're planning a new product or getting involved in a new affiliate prgramme then start planning it today. That way Christmas won't be a mad rush of family, friends, food, wine, shopping AND planning a new business.

In the meantime it's time to lock the cats in the cellar tomorrow night while the UK goes pyrotechnically insane and sets fire to everything in sight for Bonfire Night. My village has a bonfire on the exact same site that they used 400 years ago for burning heretics! Nothing like living history eh?

Thanks to all of you who emailed me with testimonials about the new book - it's greatly appreciated. I also need to congratulate a particular subscriber (hello Ian P.) who made over £900 in the fourth day of using The One Month Magnate - obviously adapting the system there - you're not supposed to have any cash by day four!!!

To my UK readers - have a safe November 5th, and to those who only get a few days holiday at Christmas because they're employees - let's make this the LAST year EVER that you have to ask your boss for time off!!! Next year you could BE the boss!

sara
x

I went sailing last week. From Maryport down to Whitehaven. Just a two day 'adventure' but enough to blow away the cobwebs and get a few ideas rattling around.

It seems I wasn't the only one. I met a couple who live on a magnificent yacht half the year then when winter comes take down the sails and hoist the boat out of the water to be overhauled.

I met the couple who were in their 40's, at Whitehaven Marina. They didn't look to be at retirement age yet so as the wine flowed I gently asked them how they managed to live on their boat for half a year at a time. The answer of course was the Internet.

I would love to tell you what business they were in but they made me promise not to, and quite frankly I'm not surprised - it's a terrific idea! I thought I had come across every type of Internet business going - it seems not.

What I can say it that it started me thinking about how easy it would be to work from my own boat! It's all about quality of life, and I don't think I've met one single person in my life - not ONE - who had quality of life (lots of free time, lots of money and less stress) and was an employee.

The two just don't go together. I know I waffle on about it all the time but if you're reading this then the chances are it's niggling away at the back of your mind all the time.

You cannot be free and be an employee

It's impossible. Make the first steps today, and whether you want to work from a boat, a bar or Bridlington doesn't matter - it's the choice to be able to do it if you want that's important. Employers don't let you do that. Ever.

More soon

sara
x

Now is the winter of our discontent.

Winter brings with it two things. Colder weather and an increase in people who decide once and for all that they've had enough of working 40 hours a week to make someone else rich. This is good for me because I make my living helping people to quit their jobs and work full time from home.

Karen emailed me last week. I could almost smell the euphoria in her email as she told me she'd left work. She didn't go into the details but it seemed that the final straw had come about at work when her boss had decided she could no longer have the time off she'd booked back in August. She presented him with a stream of verbal abuse in front of her colleagues then stormed out. Another Winter Job Quitter.

So she emailed me, happy as the day is long to tell me she'd done it. 'What do I do now'? She asked. I paused mid-sandwich and told her I didn't know - what did she want to do?

We chatted for a while and I asked her how long she could last on her present savings, and what money she was owed from work. About three weeks it seemed was the maximum she could survive for without having to start selling the furniture. Most people are in this situation. I remember hearing an interview with a homeless man on the radio. The interviewer was extremely condescending towards him. Eventually the down and out lost his temper and yelled

'Look - you can look at me and shake your head but the fact is that most of you are only three months salary from being in exactly the same position!'

I think three months is a very generous estimate. I think most people would start getting nasty phone calls within four weeks. Yet we feel that a 'nine to five' is secure??

I went through a few ideas with Karen and she worked at her new business 20 hours a day for two weeks. She struggled as her online income remained low througout this time. Four months later she earns more than her boss did. She has money in the bank, but her ex-colleagues tell her they're still waiting for her to return. Doesn't she miss the security?

I think they'll have along wait.

Well it's Sunday morning and yesterday the last of my 'car boot' income streams finished for the Winter (if you would like more info about this check out my newsletter site issue 2), so it's time to start thinking about a couple of new streams for Winter.

My other businesses and income streams, websites, auctions, products etc are all quietly providing my income but being a girl with northern values I know that I won't be happy until I replace this stream with another one. Although next summer I'll be starting it up again.

So how does winter help me to set up a new stream, that'll hopefully bring in around £1,000 a month, like the one that I've just lost did?

Well winter is the time that many peoplewantt to start working from home. Cold, dark mornings - struggling to start the car or standing at a freezing bus stop or train stationconjuree up visions of sitting down at the PC in your warm house, with coffee and biscuits to sustain you.

It is exactly like that in my house over winter, as my waistline will prove in spring!

In my last newsletter I gave mysusbcriberss a fabulous free ebook on website optimisation. This really was top of the range info, so before the winter blues get you down too much why not start putting one or two of the tips in the book into practice?

If you feel you don't have a website why not set up aneBayy shop for a couple of pounds a month. By directing 100 extra hits to youreBayy site a month you could be making a couple of hundred pounds in extra sales. This in turn brings you closer to being able to afford to quit your job.

It's all done a little at a time. Finish reading this blog now and sit down and write an article on something that interests you. Find a way to tie it into youreBayy auction site oreBayy shop, or any other sales site you might have and submit it to one of the free articles sites that are all over the Internet. I have one article that is well on the way to buying me a boat! Not a huge one, but a boat none the less.

You can find info on where to submit articles by reading the free Site Optimisation ebook that comes with issue 2 of my newsletter, or by just doing a Google search.

A bit at a time. That's how most people quit their jobs for their own internet business.

Five breakfasts a day?

Well this is a new blog for me. I stopped the old one when I launched my newsletter but I missed it! My newsletter (subscribe for free using the link on the right) is attracting subscribers faster than I can think and as usual I find myself working into the night.

If you haven't checked it out you can find back issues at the above website and with £100 worth of freebies in the latest issue it's worth having a look at. Plug over!

Talking about working into the night, it took me several years to work out when my 'optimum work time' was. It seems research has shown that people are very different when it comes to productivity at work. For example I work best first thing in the morning 6am onwards, then late at night 11pm onwards.

This is the time when I seem to get my most productive work done. Employers might benefit from realising that the person who is always half an hour late for work might be an afternoon person and do most of his productive work after 1pm, whereas others should start at 5am, and leave at lunchtime.

One prolific author I know works best after breakfast so to make sure he's productive all day he has two or three naps during the day, then wakes, has a snack and his body thinks it's time for work again.

Have a productive week.
